 Synopsis

Filmmaker Chris Nostrand was fifteen years old when his father, Alfred, suddenly passed away from liver cancer in 2005.
Now eight years later Chris begins his journey for answers as he traces back to correlate his father’s death to the
toxic herbicide used to defoliate Vietnamese jungles during the Vietnam War, Agent Orange.

Christopher Nostrand, Co-Director

Christopher Nostrand is a filmmaker from upstate Kingston, New York. He enjoys blending the art of storytelling along side powerful aesthetics to create personal and riveting pieces. Since a teenager he’s played with the camera with friends as a hobby which developed into his professional career. Currently he attends Graduate School for Integrated Media Arts at CUNY Hunter College in New York City and is runs his business Nostrand Productions, www.nostrandproductions.com.

Kayoko Nakamura is an award-winning filmmaker. Her films as director were awarded Cine
Golden Eagle Award and Asian American film festival. Other films as cinematographer have
screened at Black Maria Film Festival, Mosaic Film Experience Film Festival and Underexposed Film Festival.
