Messy and unprompted, insecurity shows up whenever it pleases and usually when it is least welcome. Hannah’s insecurity is constantly finding new ways to get between her and her desires. Her insecurity is a literal troll that follows her around everywhere she goes and gives unprompted, often ill conceived, advice.
On a beautiful summer afternoon in Chicago, Hannah grapples with her insecurity once again on an otherwise average second date with Luke. While Luke does his best to assure Hannah that her insecurity is being illogical, he finds himself losing confidence along the way.
