The GI Film Festival is thrilled to have WMAL as a 2014 media sponsor to the nation’s preeminent military entertainment event. “WMAL has been serving the Washington, D.C. area since the 1920s,” said GI Film Festival President Brandon Millett. “They are an integral part in sharing veterans’ stories and it’s an honor to have them help us tell the stories of our filmmakers.”
630 WMAL is a news/talk radio station licensed to Washington, D.C. and serving the Washington metro area. It operates with 10,000 watts in the daytime and 5,000 watts in the nighttime with studios in Washington and transmitters in Bethesda, Maryland.
