
Brian joined USAA after having served four years on the senior staff of President George W. Bush, the last two as Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs.
In this capacity he was responsible for formulating and implementing White House strategy on the President’s legislative priorities. He also advised the Vice President, the Cabinet, and senior Administration officials on all aspects of legislative relations with the US Congress.
Prior to joining the White House, Brian was a partner at the government affairs subsidiary of Ernst & Young, Washington Council. There he represented and managed Fortune 200 clients on a variety of legislative and strategic initiatives in such diverse areas as electronic commerce, privacy, corporate taxation, financial services, and telecommunications.
Before joining Ernst & Young Washington Council, Brian was a Vice President at Bank of America, responsible for national government affairs.
