The
GI Film Festival, which will be held May 12-18 in
Washington
,
DC
is pleased to announce that actor Faizon Love will be
participating in the festival this year, joining our
nation’s wounded warriors for a private screening of the
MGM/UA release “Valkyrie” on Thursday night, May 14, among
other events.
Love,
who began his career as a stand-up comedian at the age of 15,
has earned more than 40 television and film credits, including
Elf, Who’s Your Caddy, Idlewild, The Replacements, and
Friday as well as appearances on the popular television shows
My Name is Earl and That’s So Raven.
Love’s latest film, Couple’s Retreat, due out later
this year, features an all-star cast that includes Vince
Vaughn, Jason Bateman and John Favreu.
