In Their Boots: Second Battle
Steve Schrenzel is a director and producer of non-fiction television and film. After graduating with a degree in Political Science from the University of California Santa Barbara, Steve took as many planes and trains as he could to travel aimlessly and live around the world, where he discovered a passion for using video to capture the complexities of life and teaching others. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he has lived and worked ever since.
His work as producer includes the ABC series Homeland Security USA, about the men and women who protect the nation’s ports and borders, the A&E series Jackson Family Dynasty, about the Jackson 5 coping with and moving forward after Michael’s death, Brave New Foundation’s In Their Boots, about veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and other projects for MTV, MTV Tr3s, Logo, WeTV, and FOX.
Second Battle is Steve’s first film as director. He is currently in the process of completing a short film about simple, sustainable methods that dramatically improve the lives of families in the poorest parts of the world.
