Keva Keyes
Letters From Home

Army Brat Keva Keyes is screenwriter and first-time film director from South Carolina. Since college she has worked in the film and television industry. She thanks God daily for providing the way for her to be a part of breathing life into the words on the pages of writers’ dreams. After being asked for a director’s reel, Keva wrote, directed and executive produced the 35mm short Letters from Home.

In addition to directing, Keva has worked in the Costume Department on such projects as The Patriot, Semper Fi, Cold Mountain, Radio, The Notebook, One Tree Hill, Dear John and HBO’s John Adams. She is the Key Costumer on the hit television series “Army Wives.” Keva’s recent short screenplay, The Hunt for the Golden Cobra, was a finalist in the 2010 International Family Film Festival. The project has also been blessed with a $100,000 production grant from the state of South Carolina. Keva plans to direct the film in the fall with a crew of professionals and students enrolled in the Trident Technical College Film Production Program.
