
Alex Schwarm

Alex Schwarm is a 2009 graduate of Northwestern University. Schwarm grew up in a small town in southern Illinois living the life of an all-American boy, playing varsity sports and raising Angus cattle on his family farm. Schwarm always possessed a passion for the arts, but started to concentrate on writing, film making and performing arts in high school. This passion led him to pursue film school at Northwestern University.
At Northwestern University’s School of Communication, Schwarm earned a BS, cum laude, in Radio/Television/Film. He was also selected as 1 of 12 students in the prestigious Creative Writing for the Media Program and participated in the year-long Senior Directing Sequence. Schwarm was a recognized leader in the film department and the School of Communication, having served as the Executive Co-Chair of Studio 22, Northwestern’s student-run production company, as well as the Co-Chair of the Undergraduate R/TV/F Student Association. During his college career, Schwarm supplemented his academics with internships in the Development departments at Fuse Television in New York City and River Road Entertainment in Los Angeles. Alex currently resides in Hoboken, NJ and works in New York City.
