Brothers at War

Jake Rademacher with a desire to learn the truth, journeys to Mosul, Iraq and embeds with (his brother) Captain Isaac Rademacher’s Long Range Surveillance Company. While documenting their covert mission on the Syrian Border, he learns first hand about the grueling nature of soldiering, and the familiar bonds that develop between them.

Jake returns only to have his experiences rejected by his youngest brother, Corporal Joseph Rademacher, a combat veteran and 82nd Airborne sniper. Jake returns to Iraq, and as the action intensifies, so does his understanding of his brothers' war.

'Brothers at War' gives both an up close and personal view of our soldiers, and a deeply personal view of a family divided, but ultimately, profoundly bonded by the crucible of war.

Corporate Patriot Award Presentation

The GI Film Festival’s Corporate Patriot Award is presented to the corporation that best exemplifies patriotism in their philanthropic work on behalf of the American GI.  In 2008, the festival’s inaugural award will be presented to World Wrestling Entertainment and Vince and Linda McMahon. This award will be accepted by WWE Superstar Ric Flair on their behalf.

As part of the Corporate Patriot Award presentation, the GI Film Festival will debut a short documentary film, “GI Smackdown,” that highlights all of the charitable work performed by WWE on behalf of the American Armed Forces.
